Ollin is a concept of ancient Mexico and means dualism (as well as the Ying and Yang) but also movement or creative energy. It means that life is always in motion, with ups and downs, with creation and destruction, logical and at the same time contradictory, but also beautiful, magical and mysterious. These thoughts direct and guide our main teachings and practices in Ollin Yoga as we focus on helping participants to get a better connection with themselves and their surroundings, and discover this wonderful and magical world. We offer a variety of courses, workshops and more to help everyone achieve healthier minds and bodies.
I was born and raised in the "little town" of Mexico City. Since 2005 I am in Germany, where I completed my engineering studies and specialized in biomechanics.
I discovered the meditation when I was 10 years old, as my mom took me to her yoga and meditation classes. During my first trip to India in 2011 I discovered yoga and that changed my whole life. Immediately thereafter I broke my complicated relationship, moved to a new flat and started a new and promising chapter in my life. I realized that this old tradition is very close to my heart and I wanted to know more about it. In 2018 I completed my yoga education in Ashtanga. In addition, I finished my training in Tai Chi Chuan in 2014. My path has led me in the traditions of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Vipassana, Yoga, Tao and Shamanism.
My previous knowledge of muscles, postures and the balance between mind and body, have expanded very well through my activities as a medical engineer and my passion for yoga and Tai Chi. Being able to share this knowledge and help other people with it makes me very happy.
